DEC. 31, 2015 - At 4 p.m. I did a tiny bit of birding at Grand Pre. =
Along the main road across the dykelands, there were at least 4 Savannah =
Sparrows (possibly a few more =97 I saw a group of 4 and? a group of 3, =
all in the same area). And I found an immature Peregrine Falcon =
(probably a male =97 it allowed me to get close by walking from my car =97=
it was perched in the top of a tree on West Land Island, just a bit =
east of the Leungs=92 Bald Eagle nest. Finally, I also saw 2 Bald =
Eagles, flying and then perched in the trees along the RR tracks just =
west of the historic park, and a third Bald Eagle on my way back to =
Wolfville. Surprisingly, no red-tailed hawks seen this time.
