Three of 'em were hanging around , just east of Main Street, on the northern
side of the course, as I was breezing home half an hour ago. I stopped, and
walked over. They let me get within about 30 feet of them before they
lazily flew a little to the southeast, and continued to do their thing on
the course.
Fine weather, no binoculars. Size and bill size makes me strongly suspect
snowies, rather than their little cousins.
Funny, they were tending right around the area favoured by that tundra bean
goose of happy memory, two years ago.
