We have one addition to the DoWL
Common Murre

As far as I know the probable Broad-winged Hawk has not be called yet. It c=
ertainly appeared too small for a Red-tailed but we might have to go measur=
e the branches to prove it!

Updates already noted but not on the website yet.
Spruce Grouse=20
Northern Shrike
MIA Core Species
The following are the species we get every year (they are allowed 1 miss in=
the last 18 years) which we do not have on our WBL yet.

Eastern Meadowlark

Needed 9/10 out 10 Years Species
The following are the non-core species which have made the WBL 9 or 10 out =
of the last 10 winters which we do not have yet.

Blue-winged Teal
Redhead
Gyrfalcon
House Wren

Needed 8 out 10 Years Species
The following are the species which have made the WBL 8 out of the last 10 =
winters which we do not have yet.

Carolina Wren
Black-and-white Warbler
Yellow-throated Warbler

Needed 7 out 10 Years Species=20
We=E2=80=99ve cleaned the slate on these ones.

Winter Bird List (WBL) runs from Dec 1 =E2=80=93 to Feb 29

Depth of Winter List (DoWL) is February only
