I was looking at that study a couple of days ago. It was interesting to see that NS was a close 2nd to Quebec in believing that climate change is happening and in the subsequent questions about whether is partly, mostly caused by humans and whether a carbon tax is supported. Also interesting were two of Halifax ridings scoring amongst the highest in the country on these questions including supporting a carbon tax. The Halifax riding was the highest in the country in believing climate change is happening at 91%. In contrast one riding in Saskatchewan had only 56% believe climate change is happening (no comment on that 56%)

CBC messed up the presentation of that story and later corrected themselves:

"EDITOR'S NOTE: CBC has made changes to this story following clarification by the researchers. An earlier version said that a majority of Canadians surveyed didn't believe that climate change was caused by humans. In fact, the study found that 61 per cent of respondents believed the earth is getting warmer partly or mostly because of human activities. "
