About 2 P.M. this afternoon, a couple of large buteo-shaped soarers did a
series of slow, looping circles on high, moving across the Wyman Road from
the west and looping northwards towards the town of Yarmouth.

No distinctive markings, pretty uniformly dark underneath.

Would young bald eagles circle together in pairs, or is that behaviour
restricted to adult birds? If the latter, we may have seen a pair of
something more exciting.
