This likely is the final update to this winter=E2=80=99s WBL/DoWL. I =
said =E2=80=9Cmaybe final update=E2=80=9D in yesterday=E2=80=99s post =
because Liz Voellinger tipped me about a NS Birds Society Facebook =
discussion about a surprising sighting of our earliest ever (or is it =
the latest) Osprey. Alix checked on this bird and informed earlier today =
that Andrew Hebda confirmed seeing two of them around the Enfield area =
on Feb 19. A few other observers also spotted one or two around Enfield =
at that time.=20

=20

Our 198 WBL total is one beyond our average and our 149 DoWL total is =
two beyond our average.

=20

Thanks for the thanks about maintaining the WBL/DoWL this season and =
you=E2=80=99re welcome.

Subject: [NatureNS] Finale (well maybe final) update to the The Blake =
Maybank Winter Bird List (197, 148)

=20

We have one more species for the WBL which ups our total to 197 and that =
is also our WBL average.=20

=20

The new one is a January sighing by Alix d=E2=80=99Entremont of a =
Thayer=E2=80=99s Gull. Of course Alix is one of our best gull experts =
and he has been vetting this bird for two months. Check out his eBird =
submission at the link below=20
