Strange, down here in the banana belt, I have yet to see any sustained
insect appearances or hear any peepers.

Sure enough there were some early moths out this morning in addition to the
Caddisflies banging against the windows. Here is the only one I have IDed so
far:

The only owls calling here so far have been the always vocal Barred Owls.
