I don't use pesticides, so they might be going after earthworms or Junebug grubs? The Robins are having a wonderful time in that area too! The racoons really aren't that much of a problem, as 'urban racoons' are a fact of life, here in Dartmouth. I have no problem bringing my feeders in at night, either. Cheers!
