I also couldn=E2=80=99t fully understand the details, so was waiting for =
others with more information. Photos would help, too. Where exactly? =
Coordinates? Some may want to visit the site. It sounded absolutely =
tragic, and there are many other tragic stories of deforestation in NS =
right now, some that the Healthy Forests Coalition is dealing with, =
other stories left untold. We need photos of before/after pics, birds =
without homes, plants struggling in their newly exposed surroundings. =
It=E2=80=99s best to increase awareness of the far-reaching ecological =
losses. Nick=E2=80=99s knowledge would greatly assist. Have the stream =
buffers been cut? It would be interesting to flag some of the rare =
flora locations and follow their responses throughout the next couple of =
years...(?)

Im confused. Did they already cut along the river which they are not =
supposed to in the first place? If so then most of those plants will not =
survive the naked sunlight. Nick there are only a few of us on NatureNS =
