Hi all
Tonight, May 12, at old Temperance St school chimney in New Glasgow, I noted 144 swifts enter the chimney, a little over double last night's 69. They might have wished they were back in the Amazon Basin with a temperature of 6C at the time. They went In early tonight, 20:27, likely related to the temperature as it was clear skies and wind light. Nice show as they circled close to the chimney many times prior to entering almost all at once. Great nature show!
Cheers
