<span style=3D"font-size: 14pt;">=EF=BB=BF</span>I walked around Shubie =
Park in Dartmouth yesterday afternoon between 4-6 p.m.  It was pretty =
quiet at first , with only a feeding family of Blue Jays and=
a group of 12 Canada Geese noteworthy.  Towards 5:30  =
p.m. though I ran into a family of Chickadees feeding near a =

This was the first time this year I have been in this park, althoug=
h I used to visit it often and kept records of birds and plants.  So I=
looked out for some species that I don't see much around Hal=
ifax.  Boneset and Arrowhead were in bloom in the usual places, but I =
was sorry to see that the only patch of Turtlehead had been obliterated by =
a badly placed platform for a bench.
