There were a fair number of butterflies about yesterday, mainly comprised o=
f sulphurs, with lesser numbers of common ringlet, cabbage white, and friti=
llaries.  I could not get the sulphur or fritillary to settle for a photo o=
r binocular ID.  I also had a single really ratty mourning cloak.  The drag=
onflies also did not settle down and I did not have my net with, but I can =
say that there were numbers of a large darner, either Canada or one of the =
other blue abdomen ones and meadowhawks.  There were also a few damselflies=
 about.
