We have had three female/yoy since August 25 when our last two males left. =
Today there were any number of hummers in the backyard mostly feeding on th=
e flowers instead of the two feeders. Likely migrating but perhaps excited =
by the rain=2C rare to us too!! Certainly the other birds were excited incl=
uding two Pine Siskins which we have not seen for a month or so. Also one l=
ate young Song Sparrow without a tail.
How many still have male hummers?=3B usually gone by August 15 to 20th. Ric=
hard Stern still had several two days ago.
