This morning there were two adult Caspian Terns with Herring Gulls on Sand =
Dollar Beach, Conrad's Island area, Rose Bay, Lunenburg County.

The Stilt Sandpiper (Sept. 12-15) and Baird's Sandpiper (Sept. 14) that had=
been with numerous shorebirds on the marsh flats along the causeway were n=
owhere to be seen today. Shorebird numbers were way down, likely due to the=
north winds of the past two days. It will be interesting to see what arriv=
es next.
