To add to those finds, I saw a large washed up seal two weeks ago on Lawren=
cetown beach, looked like propeller cuts, and one patch where the skin was =
peeled back but no big gashes or missing limbs (only eyes missing). Big se=
al, I guess well over 200lbs.

Subject: [NatureNS] CSI: Seals at Port George, Annapolis Co

Over the past week, we've noticed three dead seals in Port George, Annapoli=
s County, NS.

All three have been washed up on the high-tide line, within ~200m from the =
"Seal Rock" at Cottage Cove Provincial Picnic Park. All three have had lesi=
ons on their skin with regularly spaced perforations. I'm tempted to think =
they're from a shark attack due to the shape of the wound, but they seem fa=
r too shallow than what I would have expected.

If anyone has any experience with this, can you please let me know what you=
 think.

Disclaimer: Photos below are about what you'd expect from the description a=
bove of the two seals spotted this afternoon... GRAPHIC
