There is currently a cattle egret at Bayport. It has been present there fo=
r a few weeks now. This bird is being nicely tended to by the host.
Steven Hiltz first posted pictures on this bird yesterday which shows it dr=
inking out of a horse watering container. The host now has a special water=
ing spot for this bird.
Some people can visit, but it is best to keep the flow to a minimum. We do=
not want loads of people showing up to view the egret. So I'm proposing t=
hat if you would like to know the exact location, which is private and off =
the road a little ways on a farm, please send me a private email. That way=
I can insure that we keep the host happy. If this is a life bird for you =
I would be most happy to give the location.
