At the end of Belle Island near the cemetery, there was a huge group of mig=
rants. not many species, but 22 black-capped chickadees, 26 red-breasted nu=
thatches, a brown creeper, some American robins, kinglets, two boreal chick=
adees, and a dark-eyed junco.

I had three American tree sparrows in Broad Cove today. There was a group =
of 14 dark-eyed juncos by the road near Broad Cove.

At Cherry Hill Beach I had 63 snow buntings. There were 15 horned larks, b=
ut sadly no pictures of them as just as I was about to snap a photo, a dog =
ran up to me and chased the birds. Also, two Lapland longspurs. I missed =
my photo opt with them also. I knew where the one landed and I knew it was=
in the open, but I just couldn't see it. I was about two feet from it whe=
n I finally did spot it and of course it then flew. It did not come into t=
he open again long enough for me to get a picture.
