ds last evening. At 4:30 am I was awake and what felt like 100 feet away, a=
coyote started to howl. He/she did it about eight times and it was very lo=
ud. I figured it must be mating season and this one was calling to let anot=
her coyote know he or she was in town and available. I was shocked by the h=
owling because I live near a green belt near the 102 highway up at the top =
of Clayton Park.  I know there are lots of animals up here but still t=
o hear the howling, I have to say that was a surprise. Heather Drope Marchi=
