That design is said to be Blue Jay proof, and our experience bears that out=
.

Subject: [NatureNS] Bird Feeding

I have finally found a solution to starlings eating all my niger seeds. It=
is a cage that looks like one for keeping a pet bird. The bottom half unl=
ocks and comes off. The top has a slot for the hanger of a tube feeder to =
pass through. The mesh of the cage allows small birds in and keeps larger =
ones out. The cost is $32 plus tax and I found it at Best Friends Pet Supp=
lies in Clayton Park. A tray could be put in the bottom of the cage if you=
are worried about dropped seeds attracting rats.
