Checked a few ponds in East Kings today.

- Saxon St. Pond-nothing yet.

- Canard Pond- Many Mallards, 30+ G/W Teal; no sign of Common Teal but ther=
e are many hidden areas along the creek in the NE corner.

- New Minas Sewage Ponds - "Bubblers" all on in the two most western ponds =
but only along edges in other ponds; ducks avoid these; gulls included two =
Iceland Gulls. The 2nd most E. pond held most of the waterfowl; 35-40 R/N D=
ucks (mostly males?); 12-15 Lesser Scaup; 10+ Bufflehead; 30+ G/W Teal; 1 p=
air Shovellers.

In the past rarities that show up here normally are gone within hrs.

Angus
