Pat McKay and I did some birding along the Eastern Shore yesterday, =
between the Lawrencetown River and the West Chezzetcook marsh.

Highlights were:
- Great Egret still present in marsh behind Lawrencetown Beach;
- male Tufted X Ring-necked Duck hybrid at Rocky Run, Three Fathom =
Harbour, tending with 43 Greater Scaup;
- one Greater Yellowlegs at the Grand Desert marsh, seen from Hwy. 207 =
past Dyke Road.

7 Great Blue Herons were found overall, 22 Green-winged Teal were seen =
in West Chezzetcook from Shore Road, robins were plentiful and a few =
Red-winged Blackbirds were back.

Cheers,
Susann Myers
