Mayflies are the group of insects alluded to when you may hear/read that
"some insects live only for two or three days." This is, of course,
balderdash. What is true is that Mayflies, for example, perhaps there are
other groups, live only two or three days *as adults", but they live at
least a year, some species more than one year.

It is my understanding that no adult mayflies feed (hence lasting only a
few days)...anyone know of exceptions to this?

Randy
