Mission Monarch is still present for citizen science to help in the study and conservation of the Monarch butterfly. Go to http://www.mission-monarch.org/

Record your observations of milkweed and Monarch eggs, larvae and adults.

This year the Monarch Blitz occurs for a week from July 29 to August 6th. This is when we make a special effort in our surveys to get a 'snapshot' of the state of the Monarchs in our area and report it on Mission Monarch.

Andy Davis, Nova Scotian and Florida Monarch scientist has written a blog about a recent trip he made home and observed our milkweed. You can read his observations at:

Cheers,
Larry
