At that time, I understood that the designation "bird-friendly" involved another level of certification beyond "organic" and "shade-grown", as is explained on the Smithsonian website: https://nationalzoo.si.edu/migratory-birds/bird-friendly-coffee *Just Us* was looking into adding some "bird-friendly" certified coffees to their inventory at the time I was doing my research, but I have not seen any on the shelves.
