Hi All,

I have posted the results of acoustic monitoring of nocturnal migration for
the 2nd week of August at the Cape Forchu and Carleton, Yarmouth County
stations on my website:

Cape Forchu: http://johnfkearney.com/Cape_Forchu_Yarmouth_County_2017.html

Carleton: http://johnfkearney.com/Carleton_Yarmouth_County_2017.html

Traffic was up considerably at both sites compared to last week. The most
common species was American Redstart which is to be expected at this stage
in autumn migration. There was a large flight of Canada Warblers on the
night of 11 to 12 August at Cape Forchu. Rare or uncommon birds for the week
included a possible Cerulean Warbler at Carleton on morning of 14 August,
and 1 Pine Warbler at Carleton on 14 August, 1 Indigo Bunting also at
Carleton on 13 August, and 1 Prairie Warbler at Cape Forchu on the morning
of 15 August.

John
