Our hummingbird numbers went down to two from four about three days ago and=
I think I'm now down to one.

Here in Glendale, 4 window feeders were filled nearly daily for the past fe=
w weeks. Each feeder seemed to have its own family. As of day before yester=
day, nary a one. I have been here since 2010 and they have never left this =
early. (Wah!)

Since about 2 days ago, we=92ve not seen =91our' 3 hummingbirds (2F, 1M) at=
all. Previously, they had been visiting our feeders fairly regularly, may=
be every few 10s of minutes. I presume they have now moved on, migrating.
Are others observing this, that is, is this the expected/normally observed =
time of departure south for hummingbirds?

There appears to be a lot of warblers on the move today. Although I did no=
t have the time to find out what was on the move, early this morning outsid=
e of work in Bridgewater the trees were loaded. After work I managed to se=
e a magnolia warbler and a red-eyed vireo, but I saw a number of others bef=

8 warblers come into the tree outside of my house. I was on the phone, so =
was only able to see a few of them without my binoculars. There was a red-=
eyed vireo, some chickadees, three northern parulas, one black-throated gre=
en warbler and I didn't get an ID on the rest. There was one bright yellow=
warbler, but I could not get any features.
