Hi All,
I have posted the results of nocturnal migration monitoring in Southwest
Nova Scotia for the 3rd week of August on my website.
The report for the Carleton Station can be viewed at:
http://www.johnfkearney.com/Carleton_Yarmouth_County_2017.html
The report for the Cape Forchu Station is at:
http://www.johnfkearney.com/Cape_Forchu_Yarmouth_County_2017.html
Highlights include 2 nights of 500 or more calls at Cape Forchu. There were
continuing good flights of Canada Warbler and Northern Waterthrush. Rare or
unusual birds included Prairie Warbler, Gray-cheeked Thrush, and a Vermivora
warbler, either Blue-winged or Golden-winged.
John
