I did not end up having to call the number. I e-mailed the biologist at DNR=
who told me to e-mail a contact at CWS who then forwarded my message to th=
e appropriate person (Carina Gjerdrum and Becky Whittam). All of this mail =
forwarding took a few days. Becky asked that I keep them updated if I see a=
ny other oiled birds in the area, but I haven't visited Cook's Beach again =
since. Becky told me to contact them by the 1-800 number ASAP if I see anot=
her oiled bird there or anywhere.

Hi Alix,
I could try to put this number in my article this week (in the Tri-County E=
xtra now).
Can you tell me what results you got when you called that number?
Thanks,
Nancy
