Very common in the asters at our place on Wyman Road, south of Yarmouth,
too.

Not sure if there were any Americans in the mix.

A friend also reported finding many Painted Ladies one day this past week
along the River Rd in Gaspereau Valley. She said there were almost 'clouds'
of them everywhere.

Cheers,

We had six Painted Ladys on one set of daisy-like flowers. Among them was an
American Lady and later had a Red Admiral on Garlic flowers. At the BNS
meeting a couple of naturalists reported seeing hundreds of Painted Ladys
'like leaves on the ground' .
