The Wild Strawberries came into bloom over the past 24hrs. The heat must have made them think it is Spring again. They're tough so I doubt this late show will have much impact on their success in 2018 https://www.flickr.com/photos/150605880@N07/23745854968/in/dateposted-public/ On another wildflower note. The Evening Primrose plants look completely spent. Brown and shrivelled up. But they still are managing to produce their happy, creamy yellow flowers on these bare stalks.
