The Wild Strawberries came into bloom over the past 24hrs. The heat must have made them think it is Spring again. They're tough so I doubt this late show will have much impact on their success in 2018

On another wildflower note. The Evening Primrose plants look completely spent. Brown and shrivelled up. But they still are managing to produce their happy, creamy yellow flowers on these bare stalks.
