Last week's fallout of migrating birds to Nova Scotia will be analyzed. The=
birds arrived (or started arriving) on Oct 26. I've been monitoring the No=
va Scotia Bird Society and adding observations from there to eBird. I am e-=
mailing here to ask anyone with relevant observations from Oct 26 on, to pl=
ease e-mail me with date, time, location, species and a photo if available,=
if these observations aren't going to be submitted to eBird or haven't alr=
eady been posted the NSBS Facebook Page. Any bird species that are typicall=
y not present in NS in late October or any southern vagrant would be the bi=
rds of interest.
Here is a sample list of species that I am interested in.
White-eyed Vireo
Yellow-throated Vireo
Red-eyed Vireo
American Redstart
Magnolia Wabler
Swainson's Thrush
Northern Parula
Scarlet Tanager
Summer Tanager
Rose-breasted Grosbeak
Yellow-billed Cuckoo
Indigo Bunting
Blue Grosbeak
Blackburnian Warbler
Blue-winged Warbler
Golden-winged Warbler
Grey Catbird
Hooded Warbler
Cape May Warbler
Tennessee Warbler
Barn Swallow
Black-throated Blue Warbler
