Until Nov 4th, = DND has asked us to stay off the gravelled roads beyond the gate near = the Golf Course parking lot for safety reasons.=20 There are DND personnel on site testing high powered lasers while = watching for people trespassing at this time. It is very unlikely a = laser will be pointed anywhere close to where we would walk, but = accidents can happen so for compliance reasons and for safety, please = stay out of that area. Walking the west or harbour side beach is fine; walking along the = fairways, giving right of way to golfers is also fine. You should have = your current NSBS Membership Card on hand to show DND or Military Police = should you be asked since we have been given permission to use the land = for birding and photography.=20 In talking with DND today, they will try to advise us earlier next time = so that we can get the word out a bit faster and have fewer challenges.
