When I look at the NSBS Facebook page, where there are many beautiful real bird photos and only a few that have been over-touched up, I see lots of normally yellowish beaks and feet that are blue in legitimate shots. Why? A photographic effect of some kind.

If you like tracking birds in NS, especially unusual ones, this FB page is worth viewing. I do not think you have to join Facebook to look at it.
