Index of Subjects There's a chart of sea surface temperatures for December 17 here: http://www.ospo.noaa.gov/data/sst/contour/natlanti.cf.gif which, within the limits of its resolution, seems to indicate that the recent temperatures were somewhere around 7 degrees C.
