Subject: [NatureNS] FW: Update to the Blake Maybank Winter Bird List (202,1=
)

We are now at species 202 which is 3 more than we had for the WBL last year=
.

The Depth of Winter List (DoWL) of February only observations also starts t=
oday but I won=92t get an update done for it until eBird get some February =
data on the Nova Scotia page. The DoWL ticks are indicated in the spreadshe=
et by adding asterisks to the =93*X*=94 . This will be the 12th year in wh=
ich we have tracked the DoWL. Last year we had a record 155 species while o=
ur average is 147.9, I=92ll leave it up to your imaginations about which sp=
ecies is a .9

Okay the DoWL does have its 1st species, I ticked the Greater White-fronted=
 Goose since I was editing it anyway.

Addition(s) since the last update:

Greater White-fronted Goose Alix d=92Entremont, Paul Gould, Pubnico Head Ma=
rshes, Yarmouth. 2nd February in a row for this species.

There may be a short delay before the spreadsheet gets uploaded but for mor=
e info or to view the WBL list or to download the full version of the WBL s=
preadsheet, visit our Winter Birds page under Library at http://nsbirdsocie=
ty.ca/
