   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">Yesterday was Keji Seaside day for me. The place was<br/></span>

   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">not crowded - just one other couple was all I saw!<br/></span>
  </div>

   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">The wind was out of the South West and raw but had the<br/></span>
  </div> 
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">good smell of sea air. Cloudy with showers at the ready but<br/></span>
  </div> 
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">I was having tea in the car before they started down.<br/></span>
  </div> 
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">Lichens provide a bright patch of color. The ones up on the shore</span>
  </div> 
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">are a nice orange and the ones&#160;farther out turn&#160; the rocks&#160;into</span>
  </div> 
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">Emerald Isles. They seem to intergrade between the orange and the green.</span>
  </div>

   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">Some blue cholorophyl would likely do that but <br/></span>
  </div> 
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">I am no lichen expert - not that I&#39;m an expert in any field!</span>
  </div> 
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">so it is not clear to&#160;me if these are different species or the fact they</span>
  </div> 
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">grow in different environments&#160;make the difference.</span>
  </div> 
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">Sea Birds are not very plentiful. A pair of Scoters, a few&#160;Mergansers and Eiders</span>
  </div> 
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">made up the sea ducks. Some&#160;Herring Gulls and&#160;three Great Cormorants added on.</span>
  </div> 
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Great Cormorants were sitting on a rock enriching the rock for the green lichens.</span>
  </div> 
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">All in all a lovely day.<br/></span>
  </div>
