Dear All,
In case anyone would have use for a relatively intact Raccoon=20
skeleton there is a relatively undamaged road kill (?; perhaps disease)=20
on Brooklyn St. Kentville; N side of road, in ditch at about W end of=20
meadow and E of the Hidden Driveway sign. It is not at all flattened and=20
I could see no blood or exposed flesh/bones. Nearby is an old kill;=20
just a few bones and hair. The west end of the meadow may be a natural=20
crossing for them. They do however also cross near the east E of the=20
meadow and get flattened there along with Turtles, Frogs, Toads and=20
Snakes. It is unfortunate that the value of small animal underpasses has=20
not been recognized on this side of the Atlantic.
