Birders in and near HRM: I am trying to decide if a Mar26 anonymous eBird report of a YB Sapsucker in W Pennant is an overwintering bird or one of our first migrants. Another was posted in PPP yesterday as well. A different or the same overwintering/newly arriving bird possibly? Thanks for any help clarifying this. A popular location like Pt Pleasant Park would be well documented I think.

There were few reports on eBird of overwintering Sapsuckers.

Nancy
