At NW Sewage Lagoons this morning, waterfowl (mostly diving ducks) were in =
the two easterernmost ponds. (The bubblers were operating in the other 3 po=
nds). I only had binoculars so I was not able to make an accurate count. Th=
ere were 6 Shovellers (5 males), 20+ C. Goldeneye, 20+ R/N Ducks, 15+ Buffl=
ehead, 10+ G/W Teal, a few Mallards and Blacks, 15 or so Geese.

Two (2nd yr) Bald Eagles were putting on a show, weaving and diving in unis=
on, much like the Snowbirds. Suggestive of courtship but normal in such you=
ng eagles?

Angus
