I have entered this sighting as our new First Arrival of RB Grosbeak in the NSBS SFA table http://nsbirdsociety.ca/library/resources/spring-first-arrivals.

Marg M thought the female she observed may have been too small and after examining photos, it was decided it was a female Purple Finch instead. Look-alike birds but generally face pattern, beak and size separate the two.

The SFA table updates and changes all the time as new reports surface and old ones are scrutinized. Any input on sightings or entries in the table by birders is appreciated. This helps to make it accurate as possible.
