there were 2 Chipping Sparrows here Friday and Sat.. They have moved on. =

I have female Grackles arriving today. This am there was a lot of =
commotion and song in the apple tree behind the house and it was full of =
purple finches, males, females and probably juveniles. I do not remember =
ever having seen anything like this. There still a number of the around.

Tree Swallows, 2 pair squabbling over houses here on our property, =
possibly a single bird in the stir, this is a regular thing the past few =
years. 2 pair minimum over the parking lot in Liverpool, none that I =
could see at the Meadow Pond yesterday. Today we went to Port Mouton =
and there were several birds feasting at the causeway and again over the =
properties toward the beach end of the Carters Beach Road. We =
didn=E2=80=99t see any behind the beach at all.=20

We seem to have quite a few Northern Flickers and from the activity I =
witnessed awhile ago, we could have a few more in a bit! ;?) =20

I thought I had a Rusty, grabbed the camera and tried but I =
can=E2=80=99t see the eyes. The call seems right. It didn=E2=80=99t =
stick around. Maybe it will show up again.=20

Best regards, Marg=20

There was a chipping sparrow in Garden Lots today. I've also been =
getting tons of reports of evening grosbeaks, so they have come in in =
