Related question. As advised, I thibk by Mary, I left most of the old stems=
etc in my garden standing last fall. Now I want to clean up but I don't w=
ant to destroy the bee hotels. If I take the standing stems and instead of =
composting/burying or putting them in the green bin, I stash them in a pile=
for a few more weeks, will that allow the fledgling bees to survive?

Thanks for the comments Mary.
What is a P. Eng doing running a B&B? I should talk though. I am an elect=
rical engineer (TUNS) but never practiced engineering. I took a C.A. after=
words and spent the rest of my life in finance.
