MAY 4, 2018 - TWO MORE BALD EAGLE NEST-CHECKS:

	- Avonport, Oak Is. Rd., north of L.E.Shaw School =97 =
perseverance paid off here, since I couldn=92t see any eagles at first, =
but then after a few minutes I saw movement in the nest, and, sure =
enough, an adult eagle spread its wings and stood in the nest for a =
short time =97 a few earlier checks of this site left me unsure of =
whether any eagles were using it this year;=20

	- East of Wolfville, se. of junction of Eye Road & Highway 1 =97 =
on my first stop I couldn=92t see any eagles at or near the =
nest =97 but along Eye Rd. just west of the nest I spotted an adult =
eagle perched in a tree =97 the adult flew toward the nest, so I did =
another nest-check from Hwy. 1 =97 and not only were both adult =
eagles at the nest, but I clearly also saw movement in the nest=92s =
opposite side =97 latter was the spread wings (downy) of a sizable =
eaglet/chick. *****=
