Just had a treat in the grapevine. I managed to get a couple photos, one
quite nice but the second not so good. 2 Pine Siskins. Last year we had
quite a few around well into the summer. There was a nest somewhere around
here with young being brought to the feeder. I think by August they were
gone. One bird is feeding heavily at the feeders and taking food to the
second. who is doing the wing fluttering bit. I am not sure if this would be
part of the mating thing or a baby demanding food. Lots and lots of
fluttering and other stuff happening around here for sure!!
