Dear All,
I bought some WOODS 20% Icaridin this year which "offers protection=20
from mosquitoes and ticks for 12 hours and Black Flies for 10". It may=20
offer but it does not deliver.
Thursday evening I sprayed and wiped it on bare arms, neck, cap and=20
face. I typically had more than 10 Mosquitoes on my arms and some on=20
face and neck throughout the one hour walk. And found a dog tick behind=20
my left ear the following morning.
This morning just after getting up I found a dog tick on my neck=20
(perhaps collected on my walk Friday). My clothing is not treated so the=20
ticks may ride home in my clothing. But, because Mosquitoes ignore it, I=20
wonder if the "Icaridin" in this product is more than mildly scented=20
water. I need a tick picker.
Yt, DW,Kentville
