Should be lots of fungi around, but the ground will be still be slippery from Friday's rain. Please wear sturdy shoes and consider bringing a stick. Details below #################################################### * Sunday, October 14 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm* If there is sufficient rain, there will be a mushroom walk for the Kentville Ravine on Sunday, October 14 2018 beginning at 9:00 am. This event is open to everyone. Leaders will be Ken Harrison and Bill Shaw. This will be an informal, family-friendly event starting from the Picnic Shelter at the Kentville Research Centre. The mushroom walk will conclude by lunch time. The trail into the Kentville Ravine is steep and we will be looking for mushrooms off the trail and across that slope. The footing is uneven and slippery in places so a walking stick is very helpful.
