I also had a Killdeer in New Germany, Lun Co. today. Plus I watched a group of Mallards on a pond there yesterday which included a female Hooded Merganser. The male Mallards were actively pursuing females including the little Hoodie. But I think they’d go after anything that looks “Duck” at the moment. All were gone when I went by again this morning.
