<span style="font-size: 12pt;">Yesterday was a Keji day for me - and a great day<br/></span>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">it was! No waiting in lineups for the attractions.<br/></span>
</div>

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">At lunch time I was at the Eel Weir so the table there is<br/></span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">a nice spot for tea. And not hard to get water for tea either.<br/></span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">Watching out over the flowing water, a fish rolled - porpoised<br/></span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">the anglers would say. It was on the seam between the calm water<br/></span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">of a little cove and the rushing water in the river. Thats a good<br/></span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">spot for a fish. It was a large fish for Keji - species unknown.<br/></span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">But it rolled across the current - unusual behavior for a trout.<br/></span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">A flock of chickadees then joined me for lunch. 6 or 8 - There was a hatch<br/></span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">of small midges in progress - the chickadees are cheerful fellows<br/></span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">when lunch is on the table.<br/></span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">After lunch I wandered around until time to go home but before I did<br/></span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">I went to Merrymakedge for a snack on the table there. It was nice<br/></span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">the wind off shore - very pleasant. Soon I saw a Loon coming from<br/></span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">way of Grafton Brook. 30 - 40 m of shore Diving and then coming up for<br/></span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">a breath - once it had something in its mouth. I couldn't tell what as it soon <br/></span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">swallowed it. They stay under a long time on a dive and go a long<br/></span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">distance. The loon was in some sort of eclipse plumage - not summer<br/></span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">- not winter. so hard to tell its age.<br/></span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">As I came into the park a little owl was hunting in a swale by the road.<br/></span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">It was on the ground when I first saw it but soon flew of into the woods.<br/></span>
</div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: 12pt;">Too quickly to tell if it had a snack with it or not.<br/></span>
</div>
