I've had 1-3 Pine Siskins at my feeders most mornings for the last week. They arrive in a mixed flock with American Goldfinches. First I've seen here in several years.

We were delighted to see a small flock of Pine Siskins feeding on our rear deck. Usually we see them later in the winter (but unless you have a calendar in front of you, it certainly looks like winter!). Cool birds to watch at feeders since they stand their ground even when Blue Jays try to intimidate them.

After about 15 mins. they flew off.
