We added 1 new species to bring us to 157.
Red Knot =96 Chris Pepper, Kate Steele =96 Three Fathom Harbour (three fat=
homs hmmm=85am I going to be able to visit them in my yacht)
The following are some of the core species we have yet to add to the WBL.
Common Yellowthroat =96 We never miss this one but it remains a notable mis=
s so far. The last one was spotted on Forest St, Yarmouth on Nov 26.
Hermit Thrush =96 Probably our most surprising miss to date but they have m=
ade it on to the DOWL the last 18 out 20 years so just a matter of time.
Killdeer =96 Our last one was Nov 18 on Cape Sable Island, Cape Sable.
Ruddy Turnstone =96 Not seen since Nov 4 at Hartlen Point
Wilson=92s Snipe =96 I=92m sure one will turn up some time.
Atlantic Puffin =96 A select few manage to get them on every WBL.
American Woodcock =96 Just a matter of time
In addition, we get Blue-winged Teal 9 times out of 10. The last ones were =
spotted at Kingsburg Beach, Nov 25.
Winter Bird List (WBL) runs from Dec 1 =96 to Feb 29
Depth of Winter List (DOWL) runs from Feb 28
